9th Floor Fitness Center at the Bloomberg School of Public Health
The Bloomberg School of Public Health, located on the 9th floor down
the hall from Jay's Cafe, is managed by MidAtlantic Corporate Health.
The fitness center houses modern equipment (cardio,
weight machines, and free weights) including Cardio Theater. There are no classes held at this location; all group exercise classes are held at the Cooley Center.

Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm
Please note that the doors lock 30 minutes before the actual closing time.
Equipment Reservation Policy
Please remember that you must first sign-up before using the cardio equipment.
The cardio machines are numbered 1, 2, 3 or 4. Number 1 machines are "first come, first serve" and require NO reservation. Machines numbered 2, 3, or 4 REQUIRE a RESERVATION. Please sign up for those machines prior to your workout (staring at 7am on the same day of intended use.) Due to supply and demand, there is a 30-minute maximum time limit on all pieces of cardio equipment.
You MAY NOT sign up for the same piece of equipment for longer than 30 minutes. Example: You cannot sign up for 3:30 and 4:00 for the same treadmill. Likewise, you cannot sign up for multiple pieces of cardio equipment -- LIMIT ONE PIECE OF CARDIO EQUIPMENT PER VISIT.
Again, due to the high demand and low supply of equipment, we stricktly enforce a 5 minute and you are not on it 5-MINUTE RULE. If you signed up for a piece of cardio equipment and you are not on it 5 minutes after the designated time, you forfeit your right to the machine. Example: You are signed up for an elliptical at 4:00 and show up at 4:10 -- another member is free to use that piece of equipment.
If a member forfeits their machine due to the 5-MINUTE RULE and you decide to use the machine, you MUST cross your name out of your original time slot. You CANNOT use both times.
